Guaranteed Pay-out

The only Circuit tournaments that have a guaranteed payout are the "Tournament of Champions" and some special events, like the "DARTISTRY Championships". The TOC has its own particular guaranteed payout and the DARTISTRY has its own guaranteed payout.

This guarantee is usually made up of two separate Prize Money Pots. They are the " PURSE" and the "Entry Fee Prize Money". The combination of the PURSE and the Entry Fee Prize Money is what constitutes any tournament guarantee.

The "TOC Purse" is subject to change for it is funded from the Regular Weekly tournaments and is divided amongst the top placing 8 to 24 teams (depending on the number of players anticipated by the 'area director' that will attend this event. As stated, PSP takes $1.00 per player from each nightly tournament during the 6-month qualification period and holds those funds to be used as the TOC PURSE Prize money. Any additional funds generated from this process not used in the purse are used for door prizes, chalker prizes, the Super Singles Shoot-Out and the overall tournament costs. Increased participation in the nightly tournaments usually increases the available funds placed into the TOC Purse.

The "DARTISTRY Purse" is also based on player participation during the season, plus an additional $10 per tournament collected from each tournament in all the different 'neighborhoods' of a particular 'Area' or combined 'Areas'. Since it is a combination of 'neighborhoods' in an 'Area' that creates the ability & necessity to hold a DARTISTRY CHAMPIONSHIPS, the available funds could be and usually are over $4,500. These funds are dispersed into FIVE to SEVEN separate tournaments with a portion being used for Chalker and/or door prizes. The exact amount of funds to be guaranteed are determined approcimately 1/2 way through a particular season by the 'licensed area director' and are then promoted to the public in the hopes to stimulate further participation at both the nightly tournaments and the season-end event.

The "Entry Fee Prize Money" for the TOC and the DARTISRY is funded from the $10 to $20 tournament entry fees collected at sign-up for each individual tournament. These funds are then added to the predetermined PURSE for each tournament in order to create the exact PRIZE POOL FUNDS that will be paid out at the end of each individual tournament at any season-end event.

Also taken into consideration in determining the ACTUAL GUARANTEED PRIZE FUNDS for each tournament and complete EVENT is what is called the "Participation Reward Program". This program allows Qualified players to prepay their entry fees for the season-end events just by playing in more than 10 regular nightly tournaments throughout the six-month season. These prepaid fees are included in the estimates made by the 'area director' before he sets any Guarantee on the 'prize funds' for each tourney and overall event.

*10% to 15% of the actual TOC/DARTISTRY funds collected during the season are used to pay for the WINNERS' plaques/certificates, chalker prizes (if any), and all miscellaneous tournament expenses.
